If you are facing redundancy, returning to work after a break or feel generally dissatisfied with your career, my career coaching programme can set you on the right track.

The programme is staged and, depending on your needs, you can take  whichever phases are relevant to you. Of course, I can tailor a programme to meet your own particular circumstance. Just ask!

The three phase career coaching programme.

Phase one: About you

The most important phase if you are at a career crossroads, its purpose is to help identify what you really want.

I will look at what motivates you, what you have to offer future employers, transferable skills, interests and hobbies and how you like to work (employed, self-employed, portfolio career etc). Using a selection of methods, from written exercises, coaching sessions and optional psychometric assessments, you will identify your career objective.

Format: This phase is constructed of six one-to-one meetings over an agreed time-frame.

Phase two: Marketing yourself

Follows on from phase one or stands alone for those wanting just marketing support.

The purpose of this phase is to equip you to promote yourself and find the right role.

During this phase you will learn how to write and present your CV, select agencies to work with and identify suitable employers. I prepare you for interview and teach you how to respond to tricky or unexpected questions. You will learn how to positively handle job offers (and rejections) and the process of salary negotiation.

Format: This phase is constructed of six one-to-one meetings over an agreed time-frame.

Self-employment

For those taking a step into self employment, a tailored programme is offered.  

Phase three: Follow-up

This phase is designed to give you support and encouragement during the early days of your new working life, whatever it may be.

Format: Driven by you, we will set up a number of sessions or calls to be reviewed periodically.
